Refund and Returns Policy

At MaineCoonUnityKittens, we care deeply about our kittens and their future homes. Our policies are designed to ensure transparency and fairness while prioritizing the well-being of each kitten.

1. Deposits

All deposits made to reserve a kitten are non-refundable. Once a deposit is received, the kitten is removed from available listings and held exclusively for you.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted only under the following conditions:

  • The kitten becomes unavailable due to unforeseen health issues while still under our care.

  • MaineCoonUnityKittens decides to cancel the adoption for the kitten’s well-being.

In such cases, you may choose a full refund or transfer your deposit toward another available kitten.

3. Returns

We do not accept returns once a kitten has been delivered or picked up. This policy helps protect the health and safety of all our kittens. However, if you can no longer care for your kitten, we encourage you to contact us — we may assist in finding a suitable new home.

4. Health Guarantee and Replacement

If your kitten is found to have a genetic or congenital health issue verified by a licensed veterinarian within the guarantee period (as stated in your purchase agreement), we may offer:

  • A replacement kitten of equal value, or

  • A partial refund, at our discretion.

A written veterinary report must be submitted within the specified timeframe for review.

5. Cancellations

If a buyer cancels an order after placing a deposit, the deposit remains non-refundable. This is due to the time and resources invested in reserving your kitten.
